Shawan Gillians focuses her practice in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors' rights, business litigation and product liability, including pharmaceuticals and medical devices.  In addition to her practice in those areas, Ms. Gillians also has experience litigating intellectual property rights and assisting clients with intellectual property transactions such as registration and transfer of intellectual property rights.

Ms. Gillians received her Juris Doctor from The College of William and Mary School of Law in 2007, where she was a Graduate Research Fellow, a member of the National Trial Team and Moot Court Team, and was elected to the I'Anson-Hoffman Inn of Court.  She received her B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Economics and Religion from Wofford College in 2004.
