Cynthia Spieth Morton's practice includes corporate formation and governance issues and commercial and residential real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges, leases, purchases, sales and borrowing. Ms. Morton has prepared and reviewed numerous horizontal property regime documents for residential and commercial condominium developments. As counsel for lenders, owners and developers, she has been involved in many multi-million dollar residential and office developments in South Carolina both as lead counsel and as local counsel for out-of-state lenders and borrowers. She has also handled asset sales and purchases that did not include real estate. Ms. Morton is an approved attorney for Chicago Title Insurance Company, LandAmerica Lawyers Title Company, Old Republic Title Insurance Company, and First American Title Company.
