Cynthia Spieth Morton's practice includes corporate formation and governance issues and commercial and residential real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges, leases, purchases, sales and borrowing. Ms. Morton has prepared and reviewed numerous horizontal property regime documents for residential and commercial condominium developments. As counsel for lenders, owners and developers, she has been involved in many multi-million dollar residential and office developments in South Carolina both as lead counsel and as local counsel for out-of-state lenders and borrowers. She has also handled asset sales and purchases that did not include real estate. Ms. Morton is an approved attorney for Chicago Title Insurance Company, LandAmerica Lawyers Title Company, Old Republic Title Insurance Company, and First American Title Company.

Representative Matters:

•	Served as counsel for client acquiring retail sites for development throughout the southeast
•	Assisted developer in the subdivision, planning and sale of land for commercial and residential uses in a development over 2,000 acres
•	Represented clients in the creation of horizontal property regime and sale of residential and commercial condominium units
•	Represented tenants and landlords in lease negotiations
•	Assisted client in refinance of $15 million debt in a mixed use development
•	Assisted client with the sale of business operation in Australia including the transfer of patents and assignment of licensing agreements
