The firm provides environmental services in the areas of litigation, permitting, compliance and transactional work. We have served as trial counsel for numerous clients in CERCLA, RCRA, and common law environmental litigation and have advised clients about federal regulatory and permitting issues, including the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act. The firm has provided our clients with representation before state agencies such as the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and its various sub-agencies on numerous issues including underground storage regulation and dock permitting. We have represented clients before the Environmental Protection Agency with regard to CERCLA investigations and enforcement. The firm has negotiated wetlands issues with the United States Army Corps of Engineers and counseled the lending community on environmental aspects of lender liability. And we have advised numerous real estate clients with regard to the environmental aspects of real estate development.
