Matt Tillman is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses primarily on products liability, business and construction litigation. Mr. Tillman has defended product manufacturers, distributors and general contractors in numerous construction and manufacturing defect cases filed in both state and federal courts in South Carolina. He has also represented clients in business disputes, land disputes, foreclosures and tax sale matters. Mr. Tillman is particularly well-versed in mechanic’s lien actions, and has represented general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and owners in numerous cases. Furthermore, he has defended claims brought under numerous consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
