Shawn M. Flanagan is a business and tax law principal with Buist Moore Smythe McGee P.A. He is admitted to the South Carolina Bar. His practice includes Business, Taxation, Estate Planning and Probate Administration, for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. His expertise includes corporate law, taxation, estate planning and probate, employee benefits and tax exempt organizations. Mr. Flanagan graduated cum laude from Furman University in 1983 (business administration: accounting) and received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1986. He received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida in 1987. He is a certified specialist in tax law as well as estate planning and probate law. He has been approved to serve as a Circuit Court Mediator by the South Carolina Board of Arbitration and Mediator Certification.
